The atmosphere at the Red Bull Music Academy stage was electrifying all weekend, and as Tinie Tempa stated as he shouted to the crowds mid performance “I think Red Bull Music Academy stage is the liveliest stage I’ve ever played at”, to which the pumped up fans cheered in appreciation.
RBMAradio.com recorded performances over the weekend which is now live and is the weekly spotlight on http://redbullmusicacademyradio.com giving everyone a chance to relive the gig.
According to www.state.ie, on Sunday “despite the traction of a World Cup final taking place at the same time, Broken Social Scene’s set beckoned us to the Red Bull Music Academy Stage once again and we were eternally glad of it. Having witnessed a few stellar BSS shows in our time, we know what the band are capable of and the Oxegen set was no exception”, confirming that the RBMA stage was not one to miss.
Everyone wanted a piece of the action at Oxegen this year, even the rain turned out in force on Friday and Saturday. However, despite this spirits were not dampened and the fun never stopped - especially in the Red Bull Music Academy arena where fans continued to cheer, clap and dance to each and every one of the Red Bull Music Academy artists. On Sunday the sun put its hat on and came out to party with the rest of the Oxegen crew giving the crowds that extra pick me up to party hard for the remaining 24 hours – and party they did.
In the state of the art tented structure, Oxegen goers had the chance to take refuge from the rain, or sun, while sipping on a selection of drinks such as a red bull mojito and listen to the sounds of Red Bull Music Academy artists. Through wind, rain and shine the smiles remained on the faces of everyone that attended and performed – proving that a great weekend was had by all.
