Taddy Blazusiak kept up his winning ways as victory in Barcelona gave the KTM biker another perfect SuperEnduro season and another Enduro Indoor World Championship title. Taddy tells about his latest win and his weekend trip to the British Sprint Enduro Championship…

It was another really good race in Barcelona and things worked out just as I had planned. I’d put in plenty of hard work in the build-up to the race and everything was in place for me to go out there and finish off the job of winning the title. Right up until the last day before the race we were working on which type of settings to have on the bike, nothing was left to chance.

When we got to the arena in Barcelona everything went great, from the first practice to the finish line of the final race. I won the heat to put myself in a great position to attack in the first main race which I won to secure the championship. Things went so smoothly and the championship came back home with me like I had planned.

The arena in Barcelona was sold out and it was great to feel the love from the 10,000 people in the crowd. After Poland this is like my second home race and it was great to have so many friends and members of my family watching me race.

I always feel I raise my game because of the atmosphere that is generated at the SuperEnduro events because I like to put on a show for the fans. Getting that instant feedback and appreciation from the crowd is something that spurs me on and adds extra enjoyment to what I do.

Now the Endurocross season starts in May and there’s no time off between then and now. This weekend I’m going to race a couple rounds of the British Sprint Enduro Championship to see where I’m at and what needs working on. I’m planning to have some fun at these races and not worry too much about winning but I know myself, when I get on the start line I’ll want to come home in first place.

Racing with me in Britain will be Johnny Walker who was really the new sensation of the SuperEnduro season. Johnny is a young guy with a great future ahead of him.
