- About this Image
- ‘Plant Oxford’, the car factory steeped in British automotive history and now the place where the modern-era MINI One is built, welcomed the world’s press this week to the launch of the company’s WRC rally challenger. Pictured on the left is one of the original Mini Coopers which was driven onto the stage by legends Paddy Hopkirk and Timo Mäkinen, who rallied the cars with great success back in the 1960s.
