Despite winning one race in Gazzane and finishing the four-event Italian MX Championship series with the same points as overall winner David Philippaerts, KTM’s Antonio Cairoli had to settle for third overall in the championship standings. “It was 50% good and 50% not so good,” Tony commented. His KTM team-mate Max Nagl finished sixth overall in the series.
